Marius Petipa (March 11, 1818 — July 14, 1910) was the French dancer & choreographer who virtually invented the at present-traditional structure of classical ballet within a career that was centered at a Imperial Theater in St Petersburg. His best known works include: Sleeping Beauty, Swan Flow of any stream, La Bayadère, Don Quixote, A Little Humpbacked Horse, & A Pharaoh's Girl, also when revisions of Giselle, Paquita, & Le Corsaire.
